Inspiring Young Farmer

While I was making and traveling with Farmageddon, I met a lot of inspiring farmers doing very cool things along the way and I always hoped to go back and film what they were doing.

Chris Kerston was one of those farmers.  He was managing a pristine farm, Chaffin Family Orchards in Chico, California.  They have the oldest olive orchard in the United States and he had a beautiful model where the animals grazed in the orchard, and weeded for them and took care of bugs, and the orchards protected the animals.

I hope that you can take a few minutes and watch the short video I made about it.  The goal:  to get the attention of young aspiring farmers, and to encourage them to use nature to solve nature’s problems.

Hope you watch and enjoy!
