The key to using a pendulum or any dowsing device is you.
You can use anything as an extension of your mind, body, and spirit to connect to the earth or to the cosmos.
These are pictures of pendulums you can buy, I recommend that you get more creative with your spiritual tools and play with different elements, connector cords, tools of all kinds.
Weight of the pendulum can matter, especially at the start the heavier the dowsing piece the easier it is to read.
I have a few pendulums I have found that I use for certain kinds of dowsing, other times I pick things up at sites where I am doing some dowsing to read more accurately. Length of time object spends at a certain area the more information you can gather.

The color gold is the color of success, achievement, and triumph. Associated with abundance and prosperity, luxury and quality, prestige and sophistication, value, and elegance, the psychology of this color implies affluence, material wealth and extravagance.
The Color Turquoise: Turquoise meansopen communication and clarity of thought.
The color turquoise helps to open the lines of communication between the heart and the spoken word. It presents a friendly and happy color enjoying life.
In color psychology, turquoise controls and heals the emotions creating emotional balance and stability. In the process, it can appear to be on an emotional roller coaster, up and down, until it balances itself.
The Color Orange: The color of adventure and social communication
The color orange radiates warmth and happiness, combining the physical energy and stimulation of red with the cheerfulness of yellow.
Orange relates to ‘gut reaction’ or our gut instincts, as opposed to the physical reaction of red or the mental reaction of yellow.

Mourn·ing ~ the expression of deep sorrow for someone who has died, typically involving following certain conventions such as wearing black clothes.
Wake/A Wake ~ a watch or vigil held beside the body of someone who has died, sometimes accompanied by ritual observances including eating and drinking.
I like to use expressing like: I am in the daydream or I am in the night dream, have a good night dream, have a good daydream, getting away from words and language they have darker and death meanings and do your own research on words you use every day that may have double meanings.
Categories you should include in your waking dream and ideas of what those categories can include:
First things first, select a crystal, choose one specific to your particular needs, rose quartz for self-love, amethyst for healing, or simply choose clear quartz and infuse it with an intention.
Cleanse the crystal, there are many ways to do this, the method I use is to simply hold it under running water, and visualize white light washing over it. All negative and old energies will simply wash away.
Place your crystal in a glass vessel, and pour spring water over it.
Leave the vessel out in the sun to receive solar energy throughout the day, or under the moonlight for luna energy.
Strain the liquid – as it may have collected debris such as leaves or twigs, through a paper filter, direct into a large glass bottle. Keep going until it is two thirds full, then add one-third vodka or brandy as a preservative. Remember – water is the perfect medium for bacteria to grow, so this part is essential.
Label and date your large bottle as the ‘Mother’ elixir.
Fill a smaller glass dropper bottle with water, and add a dozen drops of the Mother elixir. Now you have a portable sized elixir to use throughout the day. Even though it only contains a small amount of the Mother, it is enough for the vibrational signature to transfer over to the new medium.

The power of the crown chakra is from the unspoken relationship to all things. Native people use song, drums, rattles to ring the nations above, around and below. The feelings we generate can also be part of the unspoken, without words that bring to us, push away, destroy, transmit, receive out of the crown chakra. when we are not connected or the heart bridge is not open and all the bodies, chakras are not aligned the crown chakra will transmit the chaos in us into the cosmos, around us and below us.
The crown chakra is where we would tape into such things are the Akasha Records, the great computer in the sky/creator, cosmic data, the stream of all things, and more. You need to fully connect within, to be fully connected without, which means you may think you are connecting to the past, present, and future data streams but you are not. Be careful of people you may go to that would provide you such information as well. People can hallucinate for numerous reasons, even nutrient deficiencies can cause hallucinations that are not connected to anything but a mind that is not stable, hormones out of balance.

New chakras are mostly not opened or working in humans, the new chakra/s “was” applied to our energy systems in 1995. I believe for the new human evolution taking place with the development of the part of the brain that does thinking that is recent. Most people are still in the picture or dreaming lower animal consciousness, they are not thinking as of yet. The memory of water “Emoto” and other’s work proves that our human structure including the water in us is picture consciousness, printable, and reflective of what is outside of us and pineal gland and third eye chakra helped us evolve into the picture consciousness. Now we need to evolve into thinking consciousness, with the use of a mouth of god chakra and seventh eye chakra and the use of both sides of the brain in a critical approach to thinking, individual which will lead to the collective. The 6th epoch will be where the collective thinking and being will take place and thrive as the next evolution of the human being.

The health of our Physical Body has to be achieved through clean water, air, food by eating directly from active healthy soil.
Rainbow Beings/Rainbow Light return to Earth and we align ourselves with this Medicine/Energy.
This is connected in the 5th postAtlantian Epoch Stiner talked about which is the one we are in till 3572. Where the” Thinking” aspect of the human being. These new chakras become active this comes from a path of the individualized understand through the critical thinking of FREEDOM and how to use it. Then we will come to a collective understanding and applying this knowledge to the greater good of all.
These new chakras will return us back to the work of the Earth but connected fully to the cosmos/ancestors. Like a giant vortex pivot point on the Earth and outstretched into the cosmic memory, knowledge, understanding through us, and radiating it out onto the Earth.
Healing the soil and eating from it will bring our bodies back into alignment with the energy around us, as the mineral/metal biologicals uptake through eating from the soil and clean water uptakes in our bodies this will increase the power/energy reflectivity/reflection from inside our bodies into the new chakras, from the inside out, not like the established chakras from the outside in.
Our blood becomes the crystalic structures needed to power the new chakras.
